Sidus: NFT Heroes vs. Axie Infinity: Which NFT Game Is Better?
SIDUS Heroes offers over 6,000 unique Heroes of varying rarity, making them more desirable to players that wish to collect specific designs.

Play-to-earn game SIDUS NFT HEROES is paving a new path for NFT games and though Axie Infinity may have been first to pull the trigger, this new competitor is looking to take the crown.

SIDUS HEROES is a new breed of play-to-earn game that’s trying to take a different route to its competitors. While Axie Infinity is a basic Pokemon-style collectathon, SIDUS is more of a fun, addictive space opera. The game harnesses a Mass Effect feel and it appears to only just be warming up.

Axie Infinity Misses The Mark On Engaging Gameplay Loop

NFT games are carving out their own niche in the gaming space. Even AAA publishers are ready to ride the NFT train. With that said, games still need to follow the traditional pillars of game design to pique players’ interest and bring value.

Axie Infinity, for example, has become the poster child for play-to-earn titles. The game follows a Pokemon-esque path, where players train, breed and grow their teams of Axies. But then again, by just scratching the surface,  you only get a cursory experience.

Axies mostly look the same. There are some facial features and elemental attributes but there isn’t much substance when it comes to the gameplay at the moment. Players perform in-game activities because it’ll earn them some money, but it can be a slog. The next big thing in NFT gaming needs to step up and it seems SIDUS knows the trick.

SIDUS HEROES Rollouts Out It’s NFT Space Drama

SIDUS NFT HEROES delivers a space opera in which players collect Heroes, farm resources and go galavanting across the universe on an epic journey. The game offers over 6,000 unique Heroes of varying rarity, making them more desirable to players that wish to collect specific designs.

Players can enjoy the game as a space fantasy RPG that’s reminiscent of games like Mass Effect, Star Citizen and EVE Online. Those who join can play with other players, farm resources, craft, build and develop their own piece of outer space. Players can even unite and influence SIDUS politics!

This all means that the devs are presenting a gameplay loop that is easy to enjoy, where tasks don’t feel like chores. Playing space RPGs while earning money through your NFT Heroes means every activity is a rewarding process, experientially and literally. In addition, every Hero you find can become one of the rarest out there, which means more money for you to earn.

If you compare Axie Infinity to SIDUS NFT HEROES, the difference is night and day. Playing to earn money does not have to be tedious and SIDUS looks to offer a more compelling product, no matter how you slice it.
