November 07 05:00 2018
St. John’s College Santa Fe is pleased to announce a $10,000 grant available to its new students in the upcoming academic year.

Students will be gifted the automatic $10,000 New Mexico Grant if they are admitted after January 1, 2019, are a legal New Mexico resident, and have graduated high school in New Mexico or completed homeschooling/GED in New Mexico.

St. John’s College Santa Fe is a prestigious private liberal arts college ideal for students who are looking for an affordable and distinctive liberal arts curriculum. Through discussion-based learning, students learn to speak articulately, read attentively, reason effectively, and think creatively. Life on the Santa Fe campus is exciting and breathtaking: among the foothills of the southern Rocky Mountains, students can explore trails, take field trips and enjoy southwest cuisine in downtown Santa Fe, which is just a short bike ride away.

Santa Fe, New Mexico has a lot to offer and the St. John’s campus is perfectly situated to take advantage of the area’s natural beauty.  “New Mexico is for outdoor enthusiasts, artists, seekers, skiers, foodies, and people like me who love the huge skies and the sunny days. Around here, that’s 310 days a year,” says Mark Roosevelt, president of St. John’s College in Santa Fe.

Affordability is a major focus of St. John’s College, which believes in providing high-quality education within the most affordable price range. Recently, the college lowered tuition to $35,000 for all undergraduates, marking a nearly $17,000 drop. The new “New Mexico Students” grant of $10,000 per student further lowers tuition to $25,000 for the Santa Fe campus for the 2019-20 academic year. Students who demonstrate exceptional merit are considered for additional merit scholarships, which can bring the cost of tuition even lower.
